Stopped by your shop today and met Jana’s brother and Mike. We had fun as usual. I cruised with your blog today and wow, it sure looks like you two are having a great, well-deserved vacation. I won one of your certificates for a wine tasting for 10 during a raffle for the guys going back to Arlington. Thank you for the donation. I will have to tell you the whole story when I see you again. Any way you two have fun, relax and enjoy the wine! See you when you come home!

I imagine you traveling in a small auto on the last and most vital part of your extravaganza. I imagine you pulling up beside an ancient, earthy bistro where wine is poured directly from the cask. I imagine toasts spoken in the native language of your country’s host. My envy is real. And I hope, for you both, love rules. Your restaurante is still alive, although I may have chased away some potential millionaires. Gen still refuses to have my child. Did I mention the fact that I am now a Slumbert Millionaire? That’s a story for when you return. About Johnny’s—it’s an animal farm but it does bring lots of folks downtown. The problem is…it makes me an animal. Is there any hope for….? By the way, I had a great getaway trip to Vegan…sorry, that’s Vegas. It is the Den of Inequity, of course, and it’s true what they say—it all stays in Vegas. However, if you guys show me yours, I’ll show you mine. (You know, Europe v. Vegas.) Please have a safe trip home. And when you’re finally here, we’ll raise a hearty toast…in our own native language. (Although I may be speaking Albanian.) Lol and lots of love, Bert
